Hand Painted Chenrezig Thangka

With the depiction of Chenrezig as the central figure, this colorfully brilliant thangka features Amitabha Buddha, White Tara, Green Tara at the top and Manjushri and Vajrapani at the bottom.

This Thangka of Chenrezig is a Handpainted Tibetan Thangka painting on a cotton canvas. The paint used is traditionally derived from the extracts of minerals and vegetable pigments. Some exquisite thangka paintings are also painted using pure gold dust to give them an extra fine shiny look.

All paintings are hand drawn on primed cotton canvas using mineral and vegetable pigments along with 24 carat pure gold.
