Chenrezig with Buddhas and Bodhisattvas Thangka

This Thangka of Chenrezig is a Handpainted Tibetan Thangka painting on a cotton canvas. The paint used is traditionally derived from the extracts of minerals and vegetable pigments. Some exquisite thangka paintings are also painted using pure gold dust to give them an extra fine shiny look.

This is a very peaceful Thangka where the God of Compassion, Chenrezig or the six syllabled mantra god, Om Mani Mantra God is seated upon a lotus platform along with the worldly vines.

Shakyamuni Buddha and Medicine Buddha are seated on a floating lotus at the top corners. Manjushri and Vajrapani are seated at the bottom corners. This is a really majestic thangka painting of Avalokiteswora.

All paintings are hand drawn on primed cotton canvas using mineral and vegetable pigments along with 24 carat pure gold.
